Sunday 25 and Monday 26 August 2024, timed with Women's Equality Day.
Where
Washington, D.C. — a concert at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on the Sunday, and keynote panels at the National Housing Center on the Monday.

Performances by Marina Arsenijevic, BETTY, and Sweet Honey in the Rock.
Honoured
Lynda Carter received the 2024 Leading Woman Award.

  • A panel on wealth

    Anu Bhardwaj joined the Together We Lead Wealth panel with Angela Franco (DC Chamber of Commerce), Sterie Williams (Industrial Bank) and Hyoomth Tucker (The Laundry), facilitated by Luretta McCathry of Golden Seeds. Take The Lead lists Anu among the conference speakers; the composition of the panel is our own record.

About Take The Lead

Their description of themselves, not ours.

Take The Lead is a nonprofit that, in its own words, “prepares and propels women of all diversities to take their fair and equal share of leadership positions across all sectors”, working toward gender parity in leadership by 2025. The 2024 PowerUp conference fell in the organisation’s tenth year.
