Before you decide
The things people ask first
- Do I need an account to listen?
- No. Every show and every episode on SHEQONOMI plays without one, on the web and in the apps. Nothing on this site is behind a wall, and we do not ask who you are to let you listen.
- Is the free account just a trial with a nicer name?
- No — they are two separate things, and the free forever account is the one with no clock on it. It never expires, never asks for a card and never downgrades. The 7-day trial is a separate thing: it runs on a paid plan you have chosen, takes a card, and bills on day 8 unless you cancel.
- Is there a trial as well?
- Yes, on the paid plans. You pick a tier, we take your card, and you get 7 days before anything is charged. On day 8 it bills that tier's normal price unless you cancel first, and you can cancel any time from your account. If you want something free with no card at all, that is the Free Forever account — a different thing, and it never expires.
- What decides which features I get?
- Mostly who you say you are at signup. The six bundles — Listener, Supporter, Creator Lite, Creator, Network and Full — each unlock a different set, and ticking more than one gives you the union of them, so nothing you tick takes anything away. One thing is decided by the plan instead: Listener analytics start with Annual — what each host and YouTube reported about your show, on dates we can name, and a sentence rather than a zero wherever a host reported nothing.
- What are tokens?
- A planned reward for listening, with a rate that will vary by membership tier. None of it is built: there is no balance, no multiplier and nothing accruing today, and no tier earns anything yet. Roadmap & Labs tracks where it has got to.
- Can I switch between tiers?
- Yes, up or down, at any time. The change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle rather than cutting you off mid-period.
- What does Creator Pro include that Annual doesn't?
- Priority support, the Awards Library when it lands, and FUND-HER — a curated directory of startup programmes and credits from AWS, Google Cloud, Stripe and others. Those programmes are open to any eligible founder; what the membership adds is the list, kept current, in one place. A Verified Creator badge is still being built — Roadmap & Labs carries the stage rather than a date.
- I make a podcast. Is this a different signup?
- Same signup. It asks who you are, and the rest of it changes to match — that is where you connect your feeds, and where payouts get switched on. Listener analytics start with Annual. You can be more than one thing at once, and saying so never costs you access.
