Jessica Jackson

United States

Healing does not happen in isolation—it unfolds in relationship, culture, and community.

Jessica Jackson is a Somatic and Neuroaffirming Therapist supporting individuals who are renegotiating belonging, identity, and self-trust in complex environments.

For the past 18 years, Jessica has worked across nonprofit, academic, and clinical settings supporting individuals navigating trauma, academic challenges, identity shifts, relational rupture, systemic stress, and transitions into greater alignment. Much of her work centers on those untangling systemic oppression, inherited identities, renegotiating belonging, and learning to trust their nervous system in environments that have not always been safe.

Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Certified, and TeleMental Health Certified. Her clinical approach integrates trauma-informed, person-centered, somatic, neuroaffirming, and LGBTQIA+ affirming frameworks.

Beyond the therapy room, Jessica is the founder and host of Emboldened with Jessica, a psychology-informed podcast where therapy dialogue meets community conversation. Through this platform, she explores identity, belonging, relational autonomy, faith transitions, family estrangement, racism-based trauma, and nervous system literacy.

Across settings—whether facilitating mental health trainings, leading groups, volunteering, mentoring clinicians, or speaking publicly—Jessica is committed to cultivating spaces where people can move from performance and survival toward embodiment, agency, and sustainable self-trust.
